need help imagehosting

im planning to start my own imagehosting script for personal use..
is there any free script i can use with similar functions like some
imagehost here something like this one http://imgcloud.co/register.php
and put some ads and pop ups just like paid imagehost are using..

can i also use only shared hosting for image hosting site or a VPS?

Why would you want affiliate program, if you want it to be your personal site?
Am I missing something here?

On topic:
1. Script is IMGshot , Google it.
2. Yes it has affiliate system.
3. You can have ads on it.
4. Yes, if its going be for your personal use, a VPS would be good.

Its only $18

chevereto.com seems like the popular choice but its very basic no signups no gallery.

sourceforge.net Has a couple of free scripts as well just do a search for image hosting.

And i would always recommend a vps they are far more reliable than shared hosting.

i also saw the free script offered by sourceforge the problem is i dont have any background editing php scripts to put ads.. i already have a shared hosting account, do you mean its not ok to use this for image hosting?
i dont know how to use a VPS to start a website.. im looking for some cheap vps now..

btw i downloaded scripteens imagehosting script and i dont even have an idea how to upload the script, edit the pages to put plugrush codes.. all i know is creating a wordpress site.. sigh, i spent all day trying to figure it out all by myself until now i got no progress, that is why im looking for free ready made script..

Well if you find a script you like why not make a topic asking "where do i put this ad code for X script" we are a friendly bunch of people, We always try to help .

In all honesty if this is just a personal image host then shared hosting will suffice (being that your host is ok with this).
