Need help here :/

Hello there
Thread title pretty much sums it up anyways I amtrying to work through the installation of vbulletin 4 on xampp *facepalm*
Keep getting this error time after time.

Warning: include(C:\xampp\htdocs\forum/includes/config.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\forum\includes\class_core.php on line 3081

Configuration: includes/config.php does not exist. Please fill out the data in config.php.new and rename it to config.php

Any ideas on what might be causing the hiccup ? :/

Buddy opne config.php.new and fill out the database details..! This should work! And after editing dnt forget to rename it to config.php!

I can guess and say I have never seen folders mixed like you have it.

I can almost guarantee you that you did not rename your config.php correctly.

No I re-did the whole config edits. Its still the same!

1st unzip ur vb to htdocs
Open "C/xampp/htdocs/upload/includes/" folder. Find config.php.new.and rename to config.php

2nd step
Open your browser at http://localhost/upload/forums/install/install.php
then read the step until it done

Make sure u create database in phpmyadmin using xampp before u continue to 2nd step

if u still fail u can add me on my ym, ill try to help u

If you can't get it working, switch to wamp. It's much easier

Open "C/xampp/htdocs/upload/includes/" folder. Find config.php.new.and rename to config.php

2nd step
Open your browser at http://localhost/upload/forums/install/install.php
then read the step until it done

Make sure u create database in phpmyadmin using xampp before u continue to 2nd step
