I have a small imageboard style forum running with BDSM related content for a year now. My current hoster (servage) starts making problems. First image uploads starts producing errors and the support fixed the problem twice, it appears again and again. Now in the last ticket they started to mention, that they won't allow scripted file upload as per TOS. In the TOS they are forbitting filehost or offsite storage services but not stating file upload in general.
Anyhow, since the latest issues I am pondering about changing to another host and I am looking for one now.
My current host offers these features and I need something similar:
- Usual webspace stuff (like PHP5 and .htaccess rewrite support)
- Unlimited webspace (need ~2GB now but want option for at least 10GB on the long run)
- Unlimited traffic (needing ~4GB/month but want space up to 10/month)
- 1000 MySQL (need 4)
- less than 4€/month
- 1 Domain inclusive
- Whois Protect (I am freelancing and I don't want customers find my real-name related to BDSM)
- Server location in USA, UK, NL or SE (not Germany!)
- Payable via Paypal or similar online transfer, no CC.
Because of the latest problems, I want clear OK that I am allowed to run adult content and (moderated) imageboard features.
