Buying Dedicated Server

Hi, looking for a dedicated server for around $150 - $180.
It'll mostly be used for uploading so i need good speeds for these hosts: megashares,rapidshare,hotfile,fileserve

I will be downloading from:

  • rapidshare.com
  • megashares.com

Uploading to:

  • rapidshare.com
  • hotfile.com
  • fileserve.com

I'll usually be downloading from megashares.com, so the download speed for that host has to be really good (if i can get a demo of a vps like it to try it out first, that'd be great)

Minimum specs:

  • 1gbps dedicated port
  • Good location for download/uploading to diff hosts
  • Windows Server
  • 1tb+ space (more would be a great plus)
  • 10tb - Unmetered Bandwidth (unmetered recommended)
  • Quad core or higher
  • 8-16gb ram
  • around $150

I'll be storing files to reupload later, so that has to be ok with the host
I'm not too sure about the location but whatever would be faster for dling/uploading

I can go a little higher on the price if i see that its worth it.

Evoboxes.net have a vps for 60 euros with 1gbit unmetered and 1150gb, or knowinservers.com Has a server with 2 x 500gb hd, 8 gb ram and Quad core at 2.8 all on a 100mbit unmetered (likely 10-15tb out of it) for $139

Knowinservers has been around for about 5 months now according to their newsletter and the speeds are great and support is good. (they are just recently hiring people to be able to provide 24/7 support)
Evoboxes is somewhat new, beard about it through SCC, I saw some screens of speed and people reported around 20-30mb/sec (160-245 mbit, I saw that some well seeded torrents had 300-400mbit going) consistent on torrents with the 2-4 users per disk vps, support seems good (I had a response to my queries in less than 6hrs)

Also there is seedexpress.net, they have a pretty big range of servers for you, cheap as well, lowest I saw was 50 euros for 250TB bandwidth on 1gbit connection, kind of a low spec server but for 100 euros you get an awesome server with unmetered 1gbit.
For about your budget (between 100 euros and 130 euros) you can get 50-100TB bandwidth, from a dual core at 2.66ghz to an i7 at 2.66, 4-8GB ram, 1 - 2TB HD space all on 1gbit lines

I can vouch now for evoboxes, I can give you access to my sborg for a little bit if you want to give it a test but the speeds are awesome, half of the time of my sborg on knowin and hq-rdps and when I did torrents it was a consistent 60mb/sec with no problems, this is the 60 gbp vps plan
