My XenForo Review (with screenshots)

Hey guys ! today, i tried Xenforo on my local host and here are some screenshots and some reviews.

Installation was easy and completed in seconds. but the sql size after installation was 17.1 mb !
isnt it huge??

AdminCP is user friendly but doesnt have all the options which vB had :(

the forum and thread urls are search engine friendly
so i dont think tht we will need a seo script :)

the postbit is decent and the mod tools are integrated on the postbit :)

i advice all webmasters not to rush to XenForo as it is in beta still :)
if you like it, buy it and support the development of xenforo.

I advise nobody to buy XerForo until the copyright issues are resolved or you may never receive any support or upgrades if the project is halted by the courts.

As for the script it's very poor. It doesn't have basic stuff like infraction, custom bb codes, uses eval() function for templates ... ah I could go on forever. It's like VB4 over hyped for what has being delivered.

but for testers pls go with the FS release

How does it have anything to do with vB4?
 
i just tried an import from vb to xenforo
it went good :)
and i seem to like itjus waiting for the probs to resolve
and will move to xenforo wen gold is out :)

Contrary to some people, I think it's simply an awesome forum software!

I have been supporting vBulletin 3 for the past 4 years, and this is the only forum software that I feel is on comparison.
