You can always get good ranking without doing any funny business.
My site rank was above 30 lakhs a month ago, now its below 600K, and without any trick.

Well over the time you will find out that Alexa rank doesnt really matter Unless you are applying for an ad company which looks at alexa rank and up to this day A LOT of them use alexa when reviewing a website
