My ipod touch is not turning on

My ipod touch 4G is not turning on.it's not being detected on Itunes as well.Please tell me is there any other way for me to have my ipod touch back? i also tried to put into dfu mode but nothing happens ..whats the problem can anyone tell me what to do

Did you try to charge it before doing anything may be battery problem or something or go to repair shop.

yes i've charged it almost 3 hours and why repair shop its almost new

Is it still charging if you use the adapter? If yes, let it charge for 15min, then connect in recovery mode.

If still having problems then I would restore from backup via iTunes. If still problems restore to factory defaults/new iPod also via iTunes.

If it will not reset (pressing and holding the Home and Power buttons until it restarts) and has been charging over night, it's a hardware issue. You will need to take it in for service.

yes i think i have to use adapter because i was charging it with laptop

Do you see green bar, I mean do you see that it's charging?

1. connect the ipod to a computer or charger
2. press and hold the power button for 10 sec
3. press home button for 10 seconds, do not release the power button yet
4. after 10 seconds release the power button, keep pressing the home button
5. when you hear a sound, release the button and wait.
6. itunes will tell to restore it, do not do anything.
7. just wait 10 minutes in order to allow the battery to charge, then press the power button or press it for a few seconds
8. the iPod will restart, all should be normal, no data loss

Yeah, try to hold home and power button together, i'll do it on my iPhone4 and its work..if your iPod still show blank screen maybe its on DFU mode, try to using TinyUmberella to kick it from DFU mode, hope this can help you

Dont be sad mate if its new it must be in warranty. Take it to a Apple store near by and they will give you a new one

my iphone 3g also dropped from my hand now its also touch broken , claim it before wrrnty expires

I doubt they will give new one if his iPod is jailbroken.. At least they didn't give me :'(
