I run a small website with a couple hundred users. I decided to host with WRZHost.com... a host many people bow down for.

I was truly disapointed when my semi-dedicated server was responding very, very slowly and there was times when my site's members would complain about how slow the site was. My SQL database was also messed up and I would lose a day's worth of posts and new members that had joined would have to re-register.

My site started going down intermittently, and I started to get very frustrated. Their customer support is horrible. I would not get responses for hours, sometimes even a day before they responded... and their replies were one or two sentences long... seems like they don't even care. And most of the time they just blamed the problem on me.

One technician, Declan, threatened to terminate my account without notice because I swore in a ticket. He eventually suspended my account after I told him I was moving to a new host. It was very childish of him... he should be professional even when the customer is being obnoxious.


Don't go with WRZHost, don't recommend WRZHost... they are garbage and that's exactly how they treat their customers. I would have put up with the 50% uptime for a little longer had they just attempted to tell me they were correcting the problem. They are a joke.


That's my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

don't know why you had such a bad experience with them, when I rarely and I seriously mean rarely face any downtimes with them.

thats the current stat for uptime, around 3-4 of my bzy sites hosted there. however that is for a VPS and I don't hav any idea about their semi-dedicated/shared servers....

their customer support through support tickets is a bit slow (takes around 10-12 hours) but their MSN support is awsum... most of the time, Nick/Jayesh replies immediately.

Overall, I didn't have any bad experiences with them yet, so not sure why you had such a bad experience.... anywayz they hav a 7-day refund policy, did you ask for a refund?
 
They suspended my account, I doubt they are ready to give me a refund.

I would not have minded the wait on the support tickets, if the information they provided me with was of any use... they told me it was poor site management... I run a standard installation of vBulletin.

My users complained about the speed, so I guess it was only a matter of time before I switched.

@ChosenOne, my site is http://sadisticgaming.com... it's down until a find a better host, anyone have any suggestions? http://hostbeyond.com is down I see and I don't know what hosts to trust.

Any suggestions would be great, I'm looking for a lot of space... maybe another semi-dedi.

Haha, wow. WRZHost is the worst. They just charged my another $19 for no reason at all.

I payed my monthly bill on the 24th, and they took another $19 out of my account today. I'm going to file a PayPal dispute.
 
I am using a vps from wrzhost and their services are very nice.They respond to support tickets within one day and sometimes within 2 hours.I don't know about their semi-dedicated services.
 
Been with Wrzhost for almost 2 yrs, never had any down time(switched to NL server few months ago, got a uptime icon on site you can check)and Ill happy with them and their service, their guys are always on msn, and i get tickets answered quick, had 6 hosts before them, and always had problems,Ill be with these guys for a long time.
 
why do all these people who review shit have to have like 1 post counts T_T

Because post count means something?


WRZHost did give me a full refund, so I'll give them that.


So far my new host is much better... no downtime and very fast.

I might have just been unlucky with WRZHost, and maybe their MSN support is great... but 5 hours for a response from a support ticket is unacceptable.
 
I have excatly the same problem with my VPS, its not responding as it should. Its slow like hell, i asked for a refund so hopefully they will refund me.

He was told to stop swearing in tickets and refused to. The reponse times this ticket (with the exception to when i picked it up which was 1h 53m ) was under one hour and thirty minutes. The reason we would be holding onto his site was incase my decision to suspend was change by admin.
 
Final Notice-

Posts like these, and tickets like those. We do not support through forums. Our staff have responded to you in a matter of minuets and at the most just over an hour. If we take longer it is because we are fixing your problem. Please have patience. And we will resolve your problems as quickly and professionally as possibly.

Note: I do not expect ANY client to abuse the staff like this. We can not work with somebody as childish as that. I stand by Declan and his decision to suspend your account.
