Anyone.. who can help me out...

i am on shared host.bandwidth and usage is decent.
my site got Banned as i used tooo much CPU.

any help :'(

if you dont want to change anything with your site and still want hosting you should look into upgrading to a vps.

.. but also depends on your site. maybe it can be optimized so it can still run on a shared server. but most likely you probably just need to upgrade.

i have had a ticket opened and yet they say... it was CPU Usage...Its like how we Use our CPU and Ticket got Closed.

400 Unique Visitors is like once a Month... not daily.. my average visitors are 200-300.

i am using thesis theme .

i have Optimized my Db and using Cache plugins too..

i have disabled some plugins.... let see what happens.
 
Have you checked the root email?

Turned off anonymous ftp users?

Turned off plugins 1 at a time and checked server loading?


400 unique's is not much in a day if it is spread evenly across the 24 hours, if it happens in a 15 minute period some budget or free hosting might take issue with it.
 
Its a good amount of visitors for wordpress site to take some loads, ask your provider to install litespeed and cloudlinux.

and see if it works.
 
Good point feed grabber or auto-poster plugins improperly setup could kill the server s resource with a quick burst of posts. You would not see the load unless the plugin cycled also, but the host would see that spike in resource usage.

its on my Signature, Otherwise it would be called as Advertising my site :facepalm: . Plugins are some basic stuff around 15 plugins i am using.

well 200-300 visitors per 24 hours, Is that Good enough for me to move to VPS Hosting.
