Hello,

There was a review posted by a client of ours at http://www.wjunction.com/showthread.php?t=91153

Jason closed it and when I PM'ed him that why did he close it. I got the answer that "First one is fake, customers will NEVER go through that much hassle to write a review like that, we all know that." So there was actually no proof that it was written by us or anyone else.

I replied that I can send him proof that it was written by some of our client and we can show pictures of PayPal payment as a proof but Im not sure if it got through because I did NOT get any reply.

I dont know if anyone believes me here but my questions is, MODS can close anything calling it a lie with no proof?

Thank you.

Thread moved to Feedback section.

P.S. As this thread is somewhat of a complaint. I'll wait for other Staff and members to reply is that review legit. In my honest opinion, no one would write such detailed review for something he pays $33/m.

I was writing a reply to that topic but seems jason closed it first xD

Anyway i agree with Jason . Total B.S

How the hell did he even get 8mbps download speed from fileserve usign RL when they cap @ 3mbps per connection xD

2nd : Guy just registered w/ 2-3 posts and among the first things he does is write a review :p

When a new member, with only a few posts (5), places an in-depth review such as that it does start the alarm bells ringing.

Is the OP of the review, a staff member/friend/relative of the "hosting company", or even the owner him/herself. Has the OP been given some incentive to write such a review?

I have to say that when I read the review I really thought is was fake.

As Jason stated to you:- "First one is fake, customers will NEVER go through that much hassle to write a review like that, we all know that."

Jason was correct.

Jason@ It would be great if I could show you a PayPal screenshot?

Viruz@ You have called something BS with no actual proof so may I call you a wrong or you can provide proof because he was a happy client and someone in the live chat said "It would be great if you could write a review about us" and that is why he wrote that.

And as I have said before, I would love to show Jason or any mod or admin a screenshot from PayPal.

Viruz, I am waiting for the proof unless you are wrong.

A family member would pay us ? and yes, as I said before, someone from from our live chat said "It would be great if you could write a review for us"

If it was actually wrote by us, we would never go public about it.

Mods cannot call everything a lie and close the thread, but they can close a thread and give you a reason, but not explain it on the thread. Instead they can later explain it to you via PM.

That said, I just took a peak at that thread. The screenshots on it are grossly misleading. Want to know why? Because they are.

Here's how:
Rapidleech functions in an odd way. Every rapidleech file transfer screen on those screenshots is while the file is being transferred. Your customer took those screens when the speed hit the highest value (75mb/second, in one example). That is incorrect. Rapidleech fluctuates from extremely high speed to extremely low speed during the entire transfer process. The only accurate representation is the 'average speed' figure which is displayed once the file transfer is complete.

All the speed screens are midway through the transfer, which is wrong. Furthermore, no filehost allows 75mb/second on a single connection. And everyone knows Rapidleech downloads at a single connection/thread.

If I were in place of Jason, I'd do the same. I'd lock that thread for gross misrepresentation of what would have been actual facts. Customers, who would not know how Rapidleech works, may be tempted to join your hosting not knowing the fact that the speed shown on the screens is wrong.

He may have gone through a lot of trouble to create the thread, and people do if they are happy with their host providers; however, WJ will not allow misleading screens. If he can correct all of those, he can PM me and I'll open his thread to correct the screens. He can then revise his review to change all his claims on there regarding speeds, at least.

That said, I also would like you to send me proof of PayPal payment to prove he was/is a customer of yours.

I tend to agree that really does look a little ODD making a review that long and with pictures......BUT of coarse it could be genuine, anything can be genuine.

What I don't get is why you are wanting to openly start an argument with a mod in a public forum, and the public forum he is the mod on...

I must be honest I would simply BAN your arse, im sure there is a rule somewhere that states the mods decision is final etc etc

Im starting to notice a lot of threads that either have a go at the mods, call them liers or are just damn right rude.

They have a hard enough job now looking after a warez community cant be easy, especialy with all the languages and cultures.

Just accept the decision and move on...

Cheers
RR

I wouldn't say it was a genuine review, neither would I say it was fake. Reason being the fact that I can't prove its fake. When I can't prove it fake, I wouldn't close the thread. In my opinion, HostHatch should have been contacted for a proof prior to closing the thread.

This is what I think...

A client was asked to write a review,

Client said, What should I write?

hosthatch wrote one for him to copy and paste here.

Or they provided him with the images only..

who knows ...

Hello,

My name is Nick and Abdullah has not been given access to the account again.

Also, you should remove the thread or close it but my point is, why call it a lie?

No actually.

We only said "It would be great if you could write a review." We never forced him to write it and he asked us if we allow Rapidleech so he can get screenshots from there and we said 'sure', again, you can close it or delete it but why call it a simple lie?

Lifetalk@ I will send in the screenshots in a few minutes.

Again, you can remove the pictures and close it etc. But why call it a lie?

I think your missing the point HostHatch.......
I would never publicly start a debate with a MOD if he dosnt like a thread it he can close it.....SIMPLES now move on preferably to a new forum

bxflow@ It was only written, "the review is fake" which actually refers to us being wrong. It was not our fault that someone would take wrong screenshots?

It could be some of our competitor trying to do this?

There should be written that the screens are misguiding and then it should be closed?

Well if you can provide ''live chat'' logs between your support and the OP , maybe then you could proceed . P.s : with timestamp etc....and don't bother faking those , you will get banned eventually in that case.
