Hello guys,

I am interested in uploading to MU but the speeds I get with RL is like 300-400KB/s which sucks.

I tried a germany based server as well as usa based server, but same results.

What do you guys suggest for some decent speed?

Does RDP's help? (Never tried :| )

I've heard that remote uploading to MU is kinda fast, if yes then what are tha avg speed and where should be the location of the servers?

Plz let me know, as I want to buy a premium only if the speeds are good.

Or, are there any method at all by which I can get decent speeds?

And, does MU has any external file managers?
Coz the current one is a pain :p

Yes, I know, the first word that comes into anyones mind when they hear MU upload is "SUCKS" :p

I'm currently uploading to FS/HF but 4* katz forums needs MU/RS, hence I was thinking abt MU ;)
 
upload to RS as mirror, try the german server and they have great upload speeds.
for fs/hf , you can get best upload speeds from german as well as usa.
 
Megaupload Has Capped Their Uploading So Any Server You Buy You will get that much uploading speed only

Prem Accounts can only remote upload and according to me the remote uploading will also be quite low only then also u can try a onshore server for it

Oh thats good.

I have a 1gb port speed, usa based vps and the speed I get is mentioned above.

Also tried with a 100mbps germany vps, same result.

Maybe, you just got lucky, or I'm just clueless whats wrong :'(

Yes, I've heard that they have capped their upload speed but I was juts wondering as how are all these uploaders uploading to MU as I find loads of MU links all around :O

Was hoping that remote upload will be giving me good results but now I doubt it 8-)
 
Multi fetch is the only way you can get speeds up to 10mb/s.

Even then, multi fetch takes quite some time for the file to transload. Sometimes, multi fetch doesn't work and sometimes it work. You can never be sure with MU. The only way to know is to try.
 
MU allowing upload speeds up to 4-5 MB/s for premium users? That's new to me. Last I checked MU premium upload speeds sucked around ~400 KB/s.
