It would be a good and a bad opportunity.

Pretty bad idea to buy that name! If you wanted to capitalize off of Megaupload's notoriety, you'd have to be involved in a similar service, which would probably let Megaupload seize the domain name, if they made it through their legal troubles. If you wanted to run a totally different kind of website, you'd just have visitors mad that you weren't what they thought they were looking for!

You'd just have to hope they were cool about it when the heat died down. They have a trademark on "Megaupload" and could come after the domain name, if they chose to.
