As you guys say share your own stuff or completely free stuff and earn money but 95% of the people won't be doing this..

Suppose if I start uploading absolutely free ebooks then what will happen...???
 
I think what he's saying is Charlie Bit My Finger with over 280,000,000 views has been watched more times than any movie online http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBlgSz8sSM . So get those kind of dls on MS and you've made a fortune perfectly legally. Or collate and put together unique ebooks for. I would have thought that's probably what MS would like users to do. They're certainly not suggesting that you and I should do illegal stuff
 
@ Smithy - Were you the one who suggested this over at Linkbucks / digitalpoint? I remember talking about this at LB/DP.

And yes, this is a good idea. But people will probably prefer watching at youtube instead of downloading it.

You are right, people at youtube may not be interested but people on other places would like to download and see if you give it a title something like...

"Charlie Bit My Finger Video [280,000,000 views on youtube]

This is for demo purpose, you can do something more creative with those videos.

Sometime ago, National Geographic picked a video from youtube called "Battle at Kruger" and released it as a documentary, you can imagine how much they would have earn with this documentary.

Btw I don't listen songs because I don't understand what they are saying though I listen to the background music instead...:)

No but I read it and thought it sounded clever. He was saying compile like 50 of the best ever for dl or something like that - then it's too long to watch at youtube. Maybe I'll just walk along with a vid camera all day and night upload every other night then people can download my life on MS LOL

We just have to think outside the box and money is in our pocket.
 
Usually TV shows, docs and eBooks!

Had no luck with movies so never tried again.

btw I am getting decent downloads from these things.

Yah, this stuff is enough to get good number of downloads.

I myself used such kind of stuff always and have success.

Yes! but I think Remote Upload it's a bit slow (it took around 5 minutes to upload a 48 mb file)


Guys, I wanted to ask you for advice.
I'm starting a Megathread at tehparadox and warez-bee (and maybe katz and freshwap) about songbooks. I've ask moderators there about rules or tips to take into account and I decided to follow more or less the same "way" of updating that CloudShadow uses in his Xbox 360 games megatopic at warez-bb. (posting new games in separate topics and replying to megatopic telling about the new game)

That's a good idea alc.

If you can start a megathread in major forums it would give you constant downloads regularly and all your files will be in reach of most of the users all the time.

If you are making a Megathread then be very careful that do not make even a single mistake in that thread because if you do then the whole thread will be gone in Trash with no revival option and whole of work will be gone in just 2 clicks.

But if you do it correctly then you will get constant and may be loads of downloads from that thread. This is my personal experience.

So be careful that you do it right. :)

Its just simple..
Follow the rules perfectly about Megathreads which most of the major forum provide.

Eg. Suppose you have two TV Shows to post in one day then on say warez-bb you need to put both TV Shows in one reply instead of two because if you do it in 2 replies then its considered as double posting or post bumping. This was my first mistake on warez-bb while making a Meagthread.
But on some forums like Amader you MUST post both the shows in two different replies.

You guys might be thinking why I am giving so much importance to rules in Megathreads. Well that's because if you post single single threads and you a mistake in one those then only that particular thread in gone but if you make any mistake in Megathread then whole of your work is gone to trash within seconds and you will be left with no option of revival and I know how much that loss hurts.

So its just simple that you follow the rules strictly when it comes to Megathread. If you are not clear with rules then I would suggest that you first contact the respective forum support and then start one which I think would be the best to do.
