Very good. It makes it far far easier to tweet videos and images. From the looks of it you tend to build more of a profile page.

I don't personally use twitter but I do use it's development area and it's api system for plugins and generating traffic.

Really really weird fact. Over 75% of twitter happens on external sites through widgits, plugins, apps and other api powered devices. Of the remaining 25% most of these view the iphone, android and other mobile versions of the site. Fuck all use the desktop site itself so hardly anyone will see this new desktop upgrade.


Their api system is the main reason the site is such a huge success.

Their bandwidth and storage costs are huge and Google only pumps money into it to get info on what people like to watch and view. Facebook only recently started making money after years and millions of dollars of investment. I wouldn't worry too much about Twitter not making money. With such huge market dominance it's only a matter of time before they find a solution that works.

yea youtube is on track to make $ this year for the first time, traffic can get converted to money it just takes time to get the right tools to make it work.
