lulz0r 1.0 is the desktop applet to upload screen shots directly to lulzimg.com

lulz0r 0.1 was already known to many around and here is a major update to that application. It is no longer recommended to use the 0.1 version, so un-install it from your PC and simply download this which doesn't have an installation at all. =)

Changelog 1.0

  • Efficient uploading system.
  • Upload from PC added.
  • Check for updates on the webiste (not auto).
  • Run on startup working completely.
  • Modified GUI and a new GUI added.
  • History of uploaded links in the GUI.
  • Copy history links to Clipboard.
  • Save history as a text file for future reference.
  • Delete history completely if not required.
  • Upload from PC form enabled in GUI for quick uploading.
  • Play sound when done uploading, user can set it according to his wish.

Now you may simply right click the icon and Select Portion (Ctrl+A) to grab an area on the screen. The image is immediately uploaded to lulzimg.com and the resultant direct image link is copied to the Clipboard.

It doesn't have settings to get user selected hot key because it is even more easier to right click the app and take a screenshot.

* lulz0r is tested and working on Windows 7 x86 and x64 version OS.
* Remove all the previous files of the application you have, uninstall it completely and delete it from the C:\ drive
* Thanks to Arikarin & Lifetalk for testing it.
* No hotkey in the application so Ctrl+Shift+A works only when you right click the icon.
* Requires .Net Framework 3.5 or more

Detections are of two types

1.Scantime
2.Runtime

The Virustotal link u produced is a scantime result , aka scan done using dependencies of the antivirus software

The Norton Detection is caused due to uploading feature of the app aka its a Runtime detection,which is detected by an AV actually running on a PC

But @ The Poster who posted the Norton Scan don't worry its a false positive detection :)
 
So I took some time to check it out..

- I think you should change the icon of the file. The white background sucks. Make it transparent.

- I don't know why, but when ever I press Ctrl+Shift+A, I cannot take pictures. I need to right click on that face and select the option to upload a pic.

- After taking a picture, it stores the file in the same folder and uploads it to lulzimg. But it doesn't delete it. You should keep an option for people who don't wish to save images to their HDD.

- I was checking out "view history" thing. It's good but there is one problem. On closing the window by press the X button, it shuts the application instead of hiding it in the tray.

- You should add an option like this

People are lazy (Me! :P) and are not really fancy of pressing buttons to just upload a file.

- I get this when I press the second button without highlighting any link

Should add a pop up message saying "Select at least one link from the box" or something similar.

- When ever I close the app from the app tray, the "Run On Startup" thing gets unchecked automatically. Why so?

- The "Restore" and "View History" does the same job for me :S

- Why aren't the images being uploaded with full quality? I see a little blur in the images. Check that too. If you need, I'll PM you a pic of it.
