I'm mainly looking for older (maybe some newer ones) songs by bands/artists in similar genres. Please provide sample links to songs by bands/artists you post, thanks! :)

mate, try last.fm, search there name of band what you like and there is simmilar catalogue artists...PS: 2nd clip sounds like second wave of emocore :D im not specialist in emocore/hardcore etc...but try drive like jehu and etc ;)
 
I don't need help downloading. I use Google to download Mp3's anyways. I want to expend my library. I currently have around 6,500 songs (a little less)

Mostly rap and rnb with lots of rock but I'm looking for more soft and meaningful rock, songs that have a purpose. Not just screaming and talking about the devil and shit. :P

I also don't mind a few hardcore songs either. I listen to Parkway Drive, Sevendust, etc.. but not many bands do I like.

Hey u must try youtube.com if you are interested in videos also or you can go ahead and listen to songs on funmaza.com, songs.pk and other sites you can find the list of sites in google.
 
Why are you people posting links to music sites? I asked for bands similar to the ones posted above. I don't care where to look for music... I already know where, I just need bands to look for!

@ MrSandvik, thanks for the suggestion but I have most of their music.
