You're missing the point.

Who decides who gets banned? The admins. Does MrP have a good relationship with the admins (obviously, he's a mod).

Does chris have a good relationship with the admins? I doubt it, hence why he got banned. It's not about what you do, it's about how much the admins like you.
 
Of course it's unfair. This site is run by people. People have opinions, and biases, and will act according to those opinions and biases. If you're suggesting that a site should be run with no opinions and biases, consider whether on your own site, you'de rather ban another admin whom you trust, or someone who you have had personal problems with before.
 
It's obvious that 60% of the replies in this thread are made by the members who would like to see MrPeanut420 banned. And that's okay. I was banned on the forum more than 3 times, and on Chatbox about 4-5 times. I always deserved the ban, yeah maybe except last one, issue I had with SJShah. But other bans were deserved, I did insult members, some of them insulted me back. That's something you need to except, there is barely anyone who wouldn't insult you back.

Those videos that he made are stupid. And when I said that few months ago, I received an infraction. I could say I didn't deserved the infraction, but I could kept the opinion for myself. It's like spamming. Why would you reply on some thread just to say: "It's ugly" , "It's stupid". Or anything else that's not constructive criticism.
 
Well as far as I can remember MrPeanut posted before he was a supermod. He was a mod and some people pissed him off.

But even then he wasn't right in doing so & i believe those threads should have been removed by now.

Insult is not tolerated and you can consider it as a general rule.

But yeah if MrPeanut posted tht thing up...he set a bad example & atleast this kinda thing should be handled with more care in future.

I think you getting mixed up with your professorial feelings with your personal ones. I don't think its about wanting peanut banned or demotion. Its about sorting the problem, I notice with him when people have little disagreement with him he can take it the wrong way and start flaming them and he will carry on flaming them for ages. But what I'm trying to say is that we really don't need insulting via videos here at WJ.
 
To be honest, people (including the mods) need to chill and use their discretion. Of course members should not be insulting other members. However, this is the internet, you can't try and control everything people say to one another. If people are starting an all out flame war, then yeah, whatever ban them, but if its minor, then let them be.

On that note, what exactly did you say chris?

I'm just being realistic, almost all members who replied in this thread are against MrPeanut420 and they said what he did isn't okay. So yeah, that's wanting him banned/demoted. Personally, I don't care if he gets banned or demoted. Like I said before, hardly anyone wouldn't insult someone back.

Maybe because he brings a "I'm not here to be liked attitude"?
 
Well some mods love to go on power trips and think they are always right and everyone else who doesn't agree with them is wrong. You can't question them since they have the power and you don't. Its like in real life how some cops feel they are above the law and take citizens' rights for granted. There will always be bad apples within a bunch. What else is new? You need to fight for your freedom to earn it.

All I can say is this is the internet. Don't take bans and infractions seriously. Let the barking dogs bark!
 
Well you got a point there Chris, so this is what i would do then. I would create a video of your self bagging Mrp so there for he can't ban you because he did the same thing :)

Yes he did change, significantly.

This is just a weird attempt in digging up the past to try to hurt him, useless and pointless. If you have a problem, have the courage to go to him, discuss it in a civilized way, digging up mistakes to "ruin his image" does nothing.
 
@ elj i am not involved in this at all,as a outside observer though i have seen people try and have a civil discussion with him in the chatbox,just to be told basically to gtfo by him. So i can understand the frusteration felt by members here

If you read my post more carefully I said that we likes to flame people and carry on with them, when you try and be civil with him hes like all I'm gonna ban you and make a video about it all all this. Then he said "I'm not here to be liked." :S
