DLow Banned Banned 4,007 2009 568 0 Jun 25, 2012 #3 Apache & nGinx Litespeed still has to many bugs and issues especially with mod php, re-write, mod security and other various things. I mean if your a tech guru and know your way around a server than by all means go for it. But i prefer a hardened apache and optimized nginx setup imo and tbh lsws is not worth the money when you get the same performance from nGinx

M Mecho Active Member 216 2008 19 0 Jun 25, 2012 #4 Dlow , i have heard that nGinx needs to be monitored all the time and needs to be written very well . as i'm not good in these things , do u think is it possible to set it up well and just leave it and server works well ?

My favourite by far has to be nginx, really nice to work with and allows for complex configurations. It is very fast. In most cases you would not notice a difference between nginx and lighttpd in terms of speed.
