After 14 successful years of operation in Germany, netdirekt is pleased to announce an exciting milestone for the company.
LeaseWeb, one of Europe’s largest quality hosting providers, is acquiring netdirekt. The merger is being announced as
from 13th December 2010. The move will bring netdirekt customers a number of benefits, including a new high volume model
with access to more than 1.5 Tbps bandwidth and the advantages of a highly secure international network of 36,000 servers.

Established in the Netherlands in 1997, LeaseWeb is a quality hosting provider offering advanced infrastructure solutions
for a global market and boasting a network uptime of 99.999%. Services include dedicated servers, virtualisation and cloud,
colocation and tailor-made IT infrastructure solutions.

LeaseWeb’s growing infrastructure currently spans seven datacenters in the Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Brussels and Washington DC regions,
connecting with major telecom carriers. LeaseWeb peers on Internet Exchanges in Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, New York,
Brussels, Copenhagen, Paris, Budapest, Bucharest, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Milan, Vienna, Stockholm, Oslo, Zurich and Madrid.

netdirekt will, in due course, be known under the LeaseWeb brand. For you this will mean business as usual.
The internal reorganisation will only enhance customer service further and in no way distract from the level of service you
have been used to receiving. There will be no changes to your key contacts.
As owner and managing director of netdirekt I will stay at the helm of the company in Frankfurt and direct the business across
the DACH region, and all current netdirekt employees will also remain. We will in due course be expanding the team in line with
market needs to further improve our service to you.

Thanks to LeaseWeb’s international focus and local presence, customers will be able to benefit from the provision of secure and
top quality hosting services from one of the largest hosting providers in Europe - with direct regional support.
LeaseWeb partners with the IT industry’s leading enterprises, including Microsoft, VMware, Dell, HP, Cisco, Juniper,
cPanel and Parallels, in order to offer customers high quality infrastructure solutions.

netdirekt and LeaseWeb share the same values when it comes to customers and we encourage a transparent culture - we understand
that you may have questions around the acquisition, so please do contact your regular netdirekt service representative or you
can send a message to info@netdirekt.de where we will be assist you in any way we can.

Please rest assured that meeting our customers’ increasing needs has not only been integral to this decision but, more importantly,
is also key to our strategy moving forwards. Further details of additional services will be released in due course.
As founder and owner of netdirekt I firmly believe this a positive move for all concerned. We, as a company, look forward to an
exciting new chapter and would like to thank you for your continued support as we enter 2011.

Yours sincerely,

Wiethold Wagner
netdirekt Owner & Manager

Bye NetDirekt and all the ND servers :)

LeaseWeb is very strict against warez. I guess now all offshore hosting providers reselling from ND will jump to Ecatel xD

Yeah,
This is email sent by the CEO of netdirekt.de and i confirmed the merge up over the phone as well.
Netdirekt is a brand of Leaseweb from today.

but LeaseWeb also host the biggest warez sites, so why u guys talking like this?

well they don't check what sites are hosted until someone reports them I guess but leaseweb became strict against warez when they lost a court case with some torrent site they used to host

Lul WJ is on lease web but at least it is safe,

Did you guys know ecetal is ranked the #1 worst service provider basically since the allow warez,

@ Leaseweb is like Worldstream, You host warez and your fucked ^_^

LOL - this means that lease webs ANTI-WAREZ policy will kick in, prices will go up and will turn net direkt into a nother good (but legit) hosting provider..

Well, thats a later part.
Netdirekt is now a Brand of leasweb, and all the current employees of Net direkt will remain
and work as usual. So warez wont be any issue. But yes, in future when the networks are merged, it will be a note of curiosity as to who will handle the abuse reports.
If the normal netdirekt staff handles then we are all safe.

More ever, i recently got half a rack from leaseweb, in EvoSwitch and before doing the deal, i was straight forward and told them that my users will be hosting torrents and warez, so they were like, we dont check your servers.
If you have 1 or 2 servers from leaseweb then they can be strict towards you, but if you have like Racks from them, it wont really matter.

One more way to be on safer side is to get yourself into RIPE. Meaning you can have your own IP address and all the abuse complaints will be handled by you and not by your
ISP. So this can be a option as well.

But lets see, Time will tell us about it.
