Leeching posts (NOT CONTENT) is a completely different matter and violates the rules of almost every forum we post on.
Giang_coi was breaking multiple forum rules by leeching, reposting, and using multiple accounts and that is why some of us took action against him.
Just imagine what a spam-fest all forums will become if people were allowed to do what giang_coi was doing.
And please don't assume we are uploading stolen content. Saying something like that in this thread/forum can hurt the filehost.

Everyone leeches posts in some shape or form either by just d/loading it or copy/paste something to fill a request or repost elsewhere etc, after all it is warez and we are pirates. The only gripe I can see that anyone would have with Giang_coi is that he was reposting/multiposting the same stuff & using multi accounts to do it & taking possible sales away from others.
Most forum/blog etc operators are aware of multi accounts and usually ban them when found as well as some that are multiposting the same shares over & over so any spam-fests are unlikely to happen.
Regard uploading stolen content...what would you have me assume?
Saying anything about it in any thread on a warez related forum is of little concern & won't hurt anyone...The cats out of the bag everyone knows what's going on! fact is the only thing that should not have been posted is a threat to have someone banned & files deleted just because they were leeching.
At the end of the day all I can say about people bitching about others leeching stuff is stiff titties & suck it up.

Not everyone does this. So your point is moot. And as I said before, don't assume it's all warez and that we are pirates, unless you have gone through and verified EVERY uploader's contents.
Obviously it wasn't the case for giang_coi because he was doing it for a very long time on a pretty large scale. It was only yesterday he was detected and banned from many forums.
And forum mods/admins do rely heavily on reports from other uploaders.
Just don't assume anything. Simple.
Perhaps you are right that it doesn't hurt the filehost but I still believe it's better to be cautious. You can't predict what will happen in the future and laws always change.

I suggest all uploaders pack your files using WinRAR/7zip/etc and put password with your blog/site so those leechers have to do extra works if they want to leech your files.

So what's the prob? he used his own link nothing else matters unless you own the rights to the images & text if so file a dmca complaint, this forum wj is not the place to make threats about people leeching.
He was detected & banned at a few forums for multi accounts & multiposting ok thats good end of the prob, but why would anyone bring it here & make threats & bitch about what he was doing. that should be done at the forums he was posting at.
I was assuming the obvious uploaders upload movies,music, porn etc that for the best part don't belong to them for monetary gain, most pirates don't have any qualms about it really, that is ofc until they discover that someone else is pirating (stealing) their pirated (stolen) stuff. Heaven forbid :facepalm:
I'm not arguing with you and actually agree that giang_coi should have been banned for multi accounts & multiposting. But in what way do you mean it was beneficial for everyone that he was finally caught & banned was it for the so called leeching as you say or was it because he was getting more sales than others?
