that is human mentality, teens do commit mistakes YES they do! there going throw that phase in life, but parents are fucking grown up.. you think that father didnt make some mistakes when he was 16? i bet he did.. maybe he got beat up by his father too? that doesnt mean he should beat up his daughter.

A game? then it's a possilble reason for getting punished like that. Back when I was a kid, my parents didn't want me to play games either cuz many of their friends' kids played too much games and now wear huge glasses. My parents would hit me if I don't listen.
Besides we only see the part where she gets punished, the cruelty part where we will feel pity for the daughter but we didn't see the part where everything was still good and about to be break bad by the daughter.
I think I'm okay with that spank as he wasn't using metals sticks or stronger objects. She'll heal but she will remember how much his father doesn't want her to do things he doesn't like. He's an adult and he knows more. Put yourself in the father's shoes. You've told her not to play games and you told her that because it stops her from studying, makes your eyes weaker, gives are bad habits and doesn't get chance to learn much home responsibilities and she didn't listen to you and still playing the games when you get home or something. What would you do?
1. Tell her again and again until, one day she listens?
2. Hit her and teach her a small lesson so that she remembers your words?
3. Let her do what she wants since she doesn't listen to you?
4. Call the police?
5. Call the kids help phone?
many more options available...
He did option 2 and it's the best way to protect her and deliver the message he wants her to know.
So just relax, everyone. You can tell easily if the father is abusive.

They fucking bought her computer, they were arguing about that previously, so why the fuck they didn't just take the pc away, and burn it down? She isn't even a normal kid, it means her mental capacities are below normal, means more time takes to spend with kid, educating her, not beating her. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. What do you mean by "dude its not about he wants or not she plays game cause her health eyes or whatever"? Are you saying it's not his business whether she got weaker eyes fast due to playing too much games or bad habits? That is only right if you don't care about your child.
PS: I have younger siblings, I don't hit them because they listen. I don't like hitting people either. But I've seen some sick kids. They just won't stop and so annoying. I won't mind giving them a lesson sometimes. Those are the type of kids that didn't get the lesson correctly from their parents.

Strict, Yes. I was spanked a few times, as a child not a teenager. Verbal abuse with such strong words, never.
Agree, my biological dad is one of those brainwashed Christians. They see the world differently and I gave up trying to get him to see the other side of life.
There are different levels of punishment. The idea behind this corrective action is not to be in pain but to understand that its wrong. (I doubt playing is game is wrong... brainwashed father remember)

On a side note, I love my mom and step dad. Even more now as an adult. I don't see anything wrong with child punishment entirely different than child abuse. I hold no grudges and was never verbal abused.
If this gets more attention this father will be in jail.
I keep seeing you guys jump on him while reading but in most of your countries including America, a penalty for a harsh crime is Death..I've seen on TV more than once,especially in Asia where teen thiefs were caught and the whole town/village beat the shit out of them until the police came..This girl steals her dad's credit card and she gets whipped a couple of time...whats the difference?

I am able to read a post without curse words and I can make sense of it. You decided to put curse words here and there. Didn't your parents tell you to use less or even not use curse words to people when they have done nothing wrong to you? I think you're just over reacting about what other people think. Maybe you didn't have parents that could teach a kid and now grown up with loose mouth lolz. Whatever, right? Now we know that girl is meant to not do whatever she did before that video again. This video, and stories like this prove one thing, and one thing only; the parents have failed, not the child.
