Jailbreak iPhone / iPod Touch iOS 4.1

To jailbreak iPhone / iPod Touch, Geohots Limerain is now available to perform its magic. It is to inform you that Limerain works on all iDevices and on all iOSs versions released so far.

Step 1: Download the Limerain : http://limera1n.com/limera1n.exe

Step 2: Plug in the Device and Double Click On limera1n.exe

Step 3: Click on Make it ra1n.

Step 4: Now hold the Home+Power button to go into DFU / Recovery Mode.

Step 5: Keep holding the Home button, release the Power button.

Step 6: The Device is now in DFU / Recovery mode, wait until Limera1n does its work.

Step 7: Limerain has done its work. Now your Device Is Jailbroken

Step 8: Reboot your Device, lauch Limera1n on your Device and select Cydia to install.

Step 9: After the Cydia is installed, you may uninstall the limerain.

i Own A 3Gs =] iOS 4.1 .. jailbroken with limera1n.. but still not yet unlockable xD im using it as an iPod Touch xD lmao !

Is it really worth to upgrade? Mine is running fine, I know some of the new features, but is it worth it? Seems like your knowledgeable in the area. I haven't followed it to much.

humm... the gamecenter attracted me xD wasn't for the upgrade -.- but my GF just upgraded it xD -.- i don't know why.. i haven't even saved my shsh blobs =/ can't downgrade now =/ too bad

it's a very nice thing.. but if you're planning to upgrade, wait for the unlock first, unless ur A&TT =]

I think you should update it. The new iBooks app, gamecenter, multitasking features, ability to make folders for apps are enough for anyone to want to upgrade. :D
