I wanted to ask you guys if windows firewall alone is good. Or should i install a new firewall like zonealarm on my new pc?

Last time zonealarm stopped 500.000 attack attempts on my pc.

No firewall alone is good enough. You really need several programs. I am guessing you used the entire zonalarm suite of programs.
If you use win firewall use their MS Security Essentials along with it.

I only use windows firewall, and I dont like antivirus, I never use antivirus, because it wastes resources in the machine and I dont execute doubtful .exe's and programs

Never have problems, and I dont waste time thinking about it, and installing craps like these

No, first of all switch it with COMODO.

Second, you are still in HIGH risk without an AV, I use ESET Nod32, though Kaspersky is considered one of the absolute best in free and paid AV.

If your still using windows XP then hell no! It only protects incoming and not outgoing.
Think it's a bit better on Windows 7 though but I'm not 100% sure as I don't use it.

If you are using windows 7, use a small program "windows 7 firewall control", it integrates with the windows firewall and alert on all incoming outgoing connections and you can also block any program from accessing internet. This and Microsoft security essentials, not a single problem for about 18 months. And I am not a casual user, visit many potentially unsafe sites but have not encountered anything that was undetected by these two.

No firewall or AV is good if you don't know how to use it. Windows Firewall can be fine if you know how to set it up properly.

It all comes back to the user. If you really want to test something because you have to push the red button.. Sandbox or VM it.
