Is this a good deal?

When it comes to custom PC's and prices Im not sure what is exactly good for the price so I want you guys to tell me if this is good:

AMD ATHLON II 250 X2 4GB DDR3 / 500GB HDD / 1GB VIDEO / 3 - YEAR WARRANTY

PRICE: US $407.00

If no then you can direct me to something better for 400-600$ range..

I was going to buy myself an 1,500+$ Alienware but now I have to pay my college debts

i like intel better but amd is cheaper and not bad

bx, what are you going to be using it for is what you should focus on. Don't roid out the PC with useless stuff like a HD video card and etc. if you only plan on using it for studying.

Well I don't do PC gaming, so I guess everything besides gaming is just basic stuff?
