is there any tool that can do this [check the pic]

if we load a list of forums , it should detect what board the forum is running and also detect dead and alive links , same like shown in the pic

problem is the tool shown in the pic is 250$ or something it comes as an extra feature

Don't know what tool this is.
But just for detecting board type and alive and dead links, I don't think it will be hard for coders to make such a tool.
All it needs to do is to check the forum page(the HTML) for some basic footprints, like "Powered by vBulletin" for vBulletin boards, similarly for other boards too.
And for checking alive and dead sites, it should ping the site to see whether its working or not.
Not a tough job.
If you have some idea of coding, give it a try, don't think it will be a huge thing.

If I remember correctly someone here on WJ once made a little app which detects the type of forum script a site is using by putting the forum URL.

I think it was made by l0calhost. I am not 100% sure.
