Is OVH VPS any good..?? Suggestions needed for Business

Hey Guys,

We are planning to get OVH VPS's on board for both 1Gbps and 100Mbit ports.

What do you guys suggest for the same.

I need suggestions on this :

1. Are they any good..?? ( I will bring both windows/linux for RDP & web hosting)
2. What kind of plans do you expect for the same..??

Any suggestions are welcome before we float the plans..

only thing thats good @ovh/ks is their 13 pounds a month celeron server.

yea, kind of normal 1-8GB RAM VPS's normally for RDP jobs and web hosting ones..!!

OVH = Good Hardware / Poor Network Quality

Well , i won't say POOR NETWORK quality.
We have seen dozens of websites hosted there with the best of performance.

I have my websites there for over 3 years so i know that thing.

About the network, its quite good for the purpose of normal day to day jobs and hardware is simply superb.

We already resell OVH and we got complete support backed up.

We are tying up with a server management company to provide tech support for the panels of OvhResell.com and this is why we have planned to release the OVH VPS's as it will be COMPLETELY MANAGED BY US and trust me we are working with OVH since past so much time, their support is worth the money you pay to them.

but they take as long as 1 week to respond to a internet ticket..i have had ovh rps,vps,cloud,private cloud and dedis from kimsufi..i have called them atleast 30+ times.

when it works,it works well
when it doesnt,wel...you are in shit!

ovh not good at all,upload speed fast sometime,but very unstable

don't setup there. Many vps providers moved out from ovh.
try leaseweb or rapidspeeds.
for dmca ecatel is good.

if i can buy $32 dedicated server from same DC i will not buy $25 VPS (Mid Range)

They are good for a budget provider. If you don't need a quality network, new hardware and fast support, go for it. In other words they are good as long as you don't host anything mission critical. VPS on a powerful hardware and RAID10 drives is definitely much better than a lowend budget dedicated server.
