Is lulzimg dead ?

ok for the past few days i cant view any images that were uploaded to lulzimg. Also cant view the homepage all i get is "It Works!"

So the question is... Is lulzimg dead ?

No it's not dead, it's working perfectly fine here. Try one of these solutions:

Use Google DNS (Recommended)

OR

Start > Run > CMD > ipconfig /flushdns
Start >Run > CMD > ipcionfig /registerdn

Try them and let us know.

Wait.

Do you have a local webserver installed? That message looks like one of the default messages from one of the WAMP/XAMP/BAMP/DAMP whatever servers. I've never put that message on Lulzimg.

1) Check the IP you're being routed to when you try to access lulzimg. It starts with 31.
2) Check your hosts file. See if you've defined 127.0.0.1 for lulzimg.com there.

nothing helped still getting same message after restart and router restart too

btw nothing on the lines of local webserver as been installed on y PV infeact nothing has been changed on this PC for the past week or so and i was using this site 2-3 days ago

use opendns.com

What do you get when you visit these url's?

http://localhost/

or

http://127.0.0.1/

Edit: Try this too

Open cmd and execute:

ping www.lulzimg.com

do let us know whats the ip you are getting if problem doesn't resolve

So the problem is erither with dns or in host file.

Its redirecting you to: http://46.182.123.125/

See the same page there

Anyway, to fix this:

Locate to: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\

There will be a file "hosts"

31.3.241.234 lulzimg.com

* If theres no host file then create one

Edit: Its a dns problem! That was lulzimg last server ip lol

Clear your dns cache on your pc too.

You probably edited your hosts file when I moved over to the 46.x.x.x IP. Check your hosts file (soft2050's post) and let us know. You're resolving to the old server, for reasons unknown to myself lol.

ok soft2050 i updated my host file with the info u said, then cleared my DNS via CMD restarted my router and bingo its working again so thanks for the help guys
