Is it possible to manage laptop through mobile phone?

Hello Friends,
I want to ask one thing from you guys......is it possible to manage laptop through mobile phone & if yes then how? because few days back one person come from germany in my college & give presentation on some topic & he manage his laptop through his mobile phone & give his whole presentation without touching his laptop. Now i want to know that how is this possible? Is there any application available on net. My mobile phone is Samsung S5263 aka Samsung Star II.

sorry i don't have ipod & iphone atm but can you tell me the name of the application & tell me how to use it

ok it depends on your phone, but there are applications for it, you have to search for your specific OS, if you have windows mobile you can easily connect to your laptop using remote desktop connection option in your phone. Another option is using logmein directly from your phone, which will require you to install a server/client in your laptop and phone...

if you get an iphone, you can use the teamviewer app to control your computer, or if your computer has rdp enabled, there are apps to connect/control your computer that way also.

"Team-viewer" is a good one. I personally recommend that. Very handy for when I am out and forgot I left an important file on my PC that I need, for instance if it's not saved in my email or whatever, I just login and email it to myself. I've got no idea however if it works on Samsung. But it's very popular so you may find something.

On an iPad it's even better.
