Is there any risk on using google DNS on my net connection. I mean security risk.. Is there any chance get ban or hack my filseonic, wupload, fileserve, alerypay etc ID? or some kind of unwanted technical problem?

This shouldn't increase your browsing speed that much. But no, there is no risk of a ban.
I suggest google DNS, I'm using it for a while now. Even on my servers.

It could be faster for streaming videos especially from websites where the content is stored in pieces on different servers like Youtube.

Before I used Google DNS sometimes the browser would get stuck at resolving and the video will hang or buffer slowly, though I have very faster internet.

Such issues have been almost none existent since i switched to Google DNS.

So there is no risk or security issue using it?

DNS simply turns www.youtube.com into 74.125.47.93 for example.
it does nothing more. its like a phone book.

i switched from my ISPs DNS to OpenDNS cause i'm german and there was a time when our government wanted to bann specific websites through DNS.

as a tech guy i really doubt it will speed up the internet. but trying out will do no harm ;)

agree, simply it just a phonebook.

DNS server point a domain name into IP so your computer can find it faster.

for anyone who uses a VPN it makes no difference cause then you use the VPN's DNS server. if others DNS wohl be involved i would call it a leak.

when i'm not use VPN i think it is a very little bit slower simply cause my ISP's DNS are near to me (germany) and the OpenDNS are in San Francisco. and of course i've got a higher ping through the atlantic and all over US.

I perfer Google DNS for a reason.
OpenDNS just redirects to their search engine in case of 500 or 403 errors.

They dont show server dead but just redirects to their place. :(
Where Google DNS provides flexibility & shows everything.

There isnt any risk with DNS provided by well-known companies.
;)
