Is every website closing?

I have been hearing a lot about websites closing lately. Like it seems every website is closing these days, mostly file hosting sites. After megaupload was shutdown more sites are following. This sucks, if mediafire goes im gonna go nuts...

No every site is not closing. If you are referring to turn over then its about on par as usual. People buy domains the sites do not turn a profit, people lose interest, incompetency etc. As far as file hosts closing very few have closed, they just cut off the "professional uploaders" and I use that term extremely loosely. Long story short, the world is not ending, there is nothing out of the usual occurring.

Just search online for "dropped domains" and you will see how many sites close daily. And that is just those that have elected not to extend there domain name.

I think you need to take a "chill pill." =) "Every Website is closing these days", what in God's name are you reading???:O I think everyone on these boards understands that many File Host or Cyberlocker companies are closing their doors but they are just a minute portion of Websites. In the Grand Scheme of things these closings are not even noticeable to 95% of the people on the planet! We only notice this because those of us on these boards are actively involved with these Websites. Most people don't have a clue what Megaupload or Mediafire even mean much less what they represent...

Take a breather and recognize that the sun will rise tomorrow and you will live no matter what happens to your favorite Website Mediafire which for your information, I Have Not used for the past 5 years if not longer!!! I think I checked them out at the beginning but found much better alternatives and moved on. So if you do have to look around you will find brighter horizons!
