No domain provider is good for illegal stuffs. If the copyright holders get on their nerves to take your site down, they'll rush to any extent to get your domain seized no matter what or which registrar your using.

What he said. But through all the years I've owned and operated 'warez' websites I've alway registered my domains with namecheap and never had a probably with warez linking, so I'd say your best bet is them.

Where are you getting your facts from Blaze? GoDaddy didn't seize USAWarez.com when I was raided. GoDaddy didn't even suspend my account during the first raid (there was several) in 2006 when I had CREDIT CARDS + DIRECT DOWNLOADS all over the place. GoDaddy allowed me to backup my files before moving. GoDaddy allowed me to move my site elsewhere. I hosted USAWarez on GoDaddy servers in 2006 and they let me rock it out for over 6 months averaging 10-15,000 uniques/day before the raid. Once I was raided the secretary of the president of GoDaddy contacted me personally letting me know what was happening.

When I was raided again in 2007 the FBI confiscated my domain, and guess what? GoDaddy gave it back to me.

So yea, GoDaddy having zero tolerance? :dan::dan::dan::dan::dan:

Down to business to help this guy out here. Namecheap is a good solution as is GoDaddy. Namecheap has a horrible support team and you run the risk of losing your domain very easily with them. Trust me, I've been able to recover domains for people that shouldn't have ever been recovered. ::cough:: WRZTHEGFX.COM ::cough::. GoDaddy offers multiple registrations. If you are serious about your endeavors use GoDaddy, purchase Platinum Registration and Domains by Proxy. You will be safe and it gives you a much better legal advantage.

As far as offshore registrars are concerned. Sure, sure, sure. Use them if you wish. But beware, if your site gets too big, you might wake up one day to someone just taking the domain. It's happened before, it happens every day.
