as i can install only IE8 on windows xp, which i'm using... my choice is 100% not IE. because IE8 and older versions all sux! don't know about IE9... haven't tested it yet... but it should have good overall support for css, etc.

also i have to choose between chrome and firefox... till now i'm using chrome because it just loads faster then firefox, but if you need plugins then firefox is the one.

Always use FireFox, I love the restore tabs/windows function. I normally have 4 firefox windows open (on 6 virtual desktops in Ubuntu) with each around ~10 tabs open. FireFox is hardcore, but it is getting slower in loading multiple pages at once, I heard thats because they have a built in Firewall, anyway, FF 4.0 coming out soon, it looks very similar to Chrome.
