it could be either 1- your host is having problems
or 2 - an update / plugin you installed recently, or something you edited is causing the problem.
alternatively a firewall or script could be blocking you from running something. (also possibly apache).
Ah I will make it quick then, just CHMOD all your folders to 775 and your files to 664 !
