Installing wine on CentOs 5.4 - 64 Bit

Hello guys,

Ah well, I know you guys will say me its so simple just install it using yum by the following code:

yum install wine

But its actually not that simple, it says no packages to install.

Tried downloading latest RPMForge Package via these steps:

wget http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.1-1.el5.rf.x86_64.rpm
rpm -Uhv rpmforge-release-0.5.1-1.el5.rf.x86_64.rpm

/// Then tried installing via yum
yum install wine

Still no packages to install.

Any proper process to go with?

yum check-update

yum install wine

rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/x86_64/epel-release-5-4.noarch.rpm

yum install wine

& ur done

yum install wine

& ur done

Dint try the above one but this one is working. :D

Here you go...

su -c 'rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-4.noarch.rpm'
yum clean all
yum update
yum install wine

And you're done that easy!
