Review: IMGit.org



I'm very proud to announce IMGit.org, as an image host that has been around for quite a while now. We are online since 07-Jun-2011 16:26:40 UTC. I can doubtlessly say that we are a reliable image host.

We offer a lot to our users and you don't even have to register! It's a matter desire if you register or not, the only extra thing as a registered user is that you can keep track of your images.
Everything is open to you as a guest, you can upload multiple images at once, remote upload and use our add-ons.

Here is a list of features:

  • Multiple image upload - up to 10 images at once
  • Remote upload up to 30 images at once
  • Extract a ZIP archive that includes images, for fast uploading - up to 100 images within archive allowed!
  • Choose thumbnail size depending on your needs
  • Resize images to a specific new size, no more Photoshop for that!
  • Register if you need to keep track of your images
  • Firefox addon for easy normal, remote, screenshot uploading
  • Google Chrome addon for easy remote uploading
  • Styles - Change the look of IMGit and keep the one that fits you more, there are 3 choices available
  • Uploading ADULT images is allowed

Sorry but there is nothing special about your site.

You state:- Remote upload up to 30 images?

However:- "You cannot upload more than 10 images at the same time"

Statement:- "A guarantee we can take is that we will be online for a long time. " loads of hosts say the same thing.


Colour scheme is too pale.

Favicon is only visible when colour scheme is changed to blue version.

Out of a score of 10 I score it as 2 to 3.

Decent effort but a lot to be changed to get users to place images with you.

Would I upload images to your site:- Sorry but NO.

Oh I am sorry that you don't like it. I agree on the favicon, I will fix that asap.

Remote uploading differs from normal uploading. Normal uploading: Home screen with max. 10 images. Remote uploading TAB: 30 image links at the same time.

I am aware of a few bugs, like the issue with the menu in Chrome and the Donation page issue. The chrome issue will be resolved in the next upcoming version and the donation page will be removed completely.

Menu issue fixed on my localhost - update will be available very soon with many surprises! :D

Warez-BB always does the terrible things. You may ask why banned? Because they had personal problems with me and they mix personal problems with global problems.

Thanks for the comments everyone - Google Chrome and Firefox addons are available for you, they'll make your lives easier - Desktop app to be released soon.

As for the registrations, I first need to know if the users really want to have registrations. If you all agree, registrations will be added to the site (with albums and image management)
