imdB-Grabber v3

Here is a fairly simple imdb info grabber. Updated and back in script form enjoy!

Features:

  • Ajax
  • BBcode format
  • Html format
  • Friendly interface
  • Movie poster uploaded to imgur.com


Valid search terms:

  • IMDb ID tt1099212
  • Movie Title twilight
More search terms will be added back just re-wrote most of it to clean it all up.

Found some time to work on this and updated it slightly.
I have drastically improved searching so for example "transformers" and "transformers 2" and "transformers 3" all work now.

If you run into an old movie and its not the one you want you can now use a year as well for example "Animus 2013"

Having some ssh issues with github so i will upload the changes to that when ever that gets resolved, But i have already uploaded the changes to the main site posted in the first post.

Feel free to report any issues, Will try to fix them as soon as possible.

Still haven't updated it on github? the version there is still not getting info for "transformers 2/3...etc"
 
ive check this out before, im glad its working very smoothly now, thanks by the way for helping me out on working the copy thingy using zero clipboard :) thanks much
 
I have been away for sometime was busy with life stuff but i'm back and a new update released :)

Should also state the source is on github, so people can take it fork it modify it what ever you want to do (Just don't try to sell it (y) ).

Edit:
App now has an icon and i have added instructions to compile from source on the github page :).

Hey just download the latest release from here:

Extract the tar.gz file to any location and run the imdB-Grabber.exe file.

I have had a report that windows users may need to run it as an administrator for what ever reason, I'm looking into it to see why its doing that :)
