As the title clearly states that,
does any one have any type of idea regarding any free and good hosting to host a wordpress site [not a big one !!]

Thank in advance, need free hosting, as the hosting i bought from here was a scammer :| i paid for 1 year and he only gave me 1 week, and after the week no where to be seen.:'(

Either host it at wordpress site itself or find established hosting. Free hostings are simply not worth your time.
 
I was at byethost (free) but I can't say it's very good, though I didn't have any big problem.
Just pay 2-5$ per month for a shared hosting. Choose a company that is at least a few months old.
Don't pay 1 year in advance for an unknown host.

Offcourse that was my first and the last mistake that i have done B-)
