Perhaps finally all you who have raved on about how good Filesonic are in light of what Rapidshare have done and then Hotfile (so you have jumped ship twice!) will finally, possibly and just maybe shut up about "how good" this file hoster is.

They are crap! They are what were Sharingmatrix and the speeds they offer are dire beyond extreme (imho).

Personally I say let all the pay hosts die a horrible and painful death and then perhaps the scene can get back to what it used to be about... sharing for the sake of sharing.

Even though I don't upload, it sucks... Because uploaders are those who made them popular, they're the reason why they still exist. Deleting of files is ok, but come on terminating of accounts that's just making them look stupid and like they're not here because of those who upload copyrighted stuff. Which is kinda more than obvious as WJunction is FULL of uploaders. Another file host will soon bite the dust..

I know it is the same email the user masalalover2010 received before his filesonic account got disabled. I know he/she ignored the email and uploaded again the files which were infringed on. But I did not ignore the email. I immediately deleted all my remaining copies of the files whose copyright they claim to be infringed and will never upload them again.

Should I still be worried?

By the way how does this email differ from the regular "Files Deleted" email? Is there no DMCA complaint involved in the latter, just Filesonic's sole discretion to delete a file for thinking it is a copyrighted material?

Even i deleted all my back up files.
But filesonic deleted my account with 232.74$
I highly disappointed with Filesonic
 
Well this is sad because I have been using them for a while with only small application earnings. I think they will end up like Hotfile. :))

I also have an unpaid amount of money in my Filesonic account, even higher than yours.

In your case, how much time had elapsed between the arrival of the copyright infringement email and the termination of your account?

Are you sure you deleted all your backup files immediately after the warning email? I thought Hish said you posted again the files within two hours.

According to indian time, i recieved mail at 2pm, i deleted all back up files before 3pm.
I didn't repost same file also.
I got only one mail only, But Hish keep on telling (lie) i got too many warning mails,
U can see all my proof in my sig.
Even i don't know, is Filesonic server logs shown as wrong info regard my filesonic account in error or bug.

I stopped Filesonic right now, i don't want to waste anymore time with filesonic.
 
Hey masalalover2010, I understand what you are saying. I asked you the length of time that had elapsed between the time you received the copyright infringement email (2 PM Indian time, according to you) and the time your account was terminated. I was just wondering because in my case, more than 12 hours have passed already and my account is still intact.

You want my advice? Ditch the account IMMEDIATELY, cash out what ever earnings you have in it and create a new account. If you continue to upload copyrighted material on this account, IT WILL be disabled.
