Hiya WJers,

Today I come up with a topic I really wanted to post. Well, we all here know what is warez and we all started somewhere...

Well, My Uncle Gifted me my first computer when i was around 10ish, in 5th grade.

It had a genuine windows and encarta encyclopedia.

Didn't know squat then, after a few days started buying games n stuff, wasn't until couple of years later i figured out its piracy and all...

But then thats all you could get in pakistan at that time, & now.

Its like Dexter's statement, Born in Blood lol!

Born in blood would be like, your mom made a movie and it got stolen and put on the internet. o.o
 
I was searching for "Windows XP Media Centre Edition free download" when google listed mechodownload in its search results. I joined mechodownload using my real name (its changed now so dont bother searching for it). Then after some time i found out katzforums. Then i started copy-pasting some downloads from mechodownload to katz to get their advanced member rank. :P
 
well I forgot about my story.

I was 12 when I got my first pc. I had genuine windows xp Home Edition (still on it) xD
I remember my dad wanted Encarta 2005 and he bought it from my uncle who is a Computer Reseller.

I had got the encarta and was liking it but I never knew how to install shits or go on the net :(

One day I got a fucking crash of my windows and i called my neighbour to fix it.
He said "I need to reformat"

I was like WTF reformat is :|

Then he explained to me the reformat thing.

then he installed all shits and asked for motherboard CD =\
I was like WTF again whats a motherboard and whats it cd :|


Then he explained

All was done and then He said we need to activate windows.
I was again WTF is Activate I thought it was free with my pc :|

He said you need activate for it to work.
I said ok HOW?

He saw my little Windows Sticker and said connect to the net

Again I was Like WTF ... I don't have internet how i will connect. Ya I was thinking that internet Should be installed with a software -.- I was such an ass tbh :(

Lol that's when he told me where the phone is and he dragged a the cable to my pc and he setup the dial up xD

He connected and I was amazed by the tik tik of the modem xD

Then he activated my windows

after that he went away and he forgot to remove the dial up lawl
I went on the net and OMG =O

I didnt know what was google a that time :O

I always saw my cousin go on msn.com

So I typed msn.com and i was like WOW its Internet :O

I quickly typed something in search and dragged my mouse on the search buton and clicked :O DIDN'T know pressing Enter would do the thing :|


Well Then ya I was searching for mobile phones and speding hours on the net.

Then my mom had to make a call and phone wasnt working :O

So I remembered i was n net xD So I went to fix the phone ( Ya I was kinda the geek of the house even w/o pc knowledge )

So all fixed then I decided to reformat my pc :|



Ya it was just formatted so i tried to reformat again by myself xD

that was the first time i could format and after that 1st time , i formatted my pc like every 3 days for a month till i go tired formatting xD

I gradually learned to install things and for like 1 year I was playing programs files, windows system 32 and fucking up the pc all the time ROFL.

Then Came the day :D

I was 13 going to be 14 in some months :D

And the ISP here was releasing DSL :D

LOL All i heard was unlimited internet for $30/month :D

Woot I quickly told dad I need to do school projects and all time i have to go beg my cousins :( Dad could understand me and applied for DSL :D

Then 3 weeks later I got internet :D

Woot I was fucking Happy on my way home from school.
YAYA Internet

I quickly switch on pc and click internet explorer 6 :|

i was going in network connection to dial up when i saw net load all by itself.

I was like WTF :| I took the tool free of the isp and called and explainedthe guy my problem and he said how old i was and i replied 13 :(

he said no need to dial now "KID" its always on the net now :D

Lol i said OH WOW AWESOME :D THANKS BYE xD

I went to pc :D and went on net :D

I was at that time using StarOffice some shit like that which was pre installed by the computer seller but wen i was formatting it was gone :(

Then I said to myself Star office always blocks my pc and all i knew to use was word

I then went on net and typed " free micosoft word"

LAWL there were so much and i remember downloading the free on download.com and installing

after office i always downloaded shits from download.com

All was good when 1 day office expired and i was angry so I went on net and typed "get rid of office expiration " thats when i saw a PHAZEDDL.COM

IT WAS A HIVE FOR DOWNLOADS ALL FREEE

IT WAS .DE at that TIMe

DIDNT know what was winrar then i gradully look on net :D

Some Weeks later Phazeddl was my hive

I was bragging at school

then later I came to know its warez but still didnt know warez was illegit :(

I started to search google for free rapidshares and shits never got

then i started forums etc.. bla blabla

Now Phazeddl is shit i never go to it

But Phazedl was the 1st warez site i went on

It was a desiforum which sent me a spam mail :| So I went joined and became regular. Later, Esoft.in and then my forum and WarezScene :|
 
Well I first laid my hands on the PC when I was 5 years old (1997). It was running on MS DOS. Then 2 years later, we had Windows 95 installed on it xD and then later Windows 98 and then 98+.
After that in about 2003, we had installed Windows 2000 ME :p and then in about 2005 Windows XP was installed.
I was given Net Access from 2006 :p. I was AOE (Age of Empires) maniac, and I that time, AOE 2 was released and I wanted it so badly. I used to ask my uncle (Computer Engineer) if he could give me AOE II Game CD, he said, he didn't had one, he need to download it from internet. I said, how to do that ? He came to my house, removed the phone line and connected it to my PC. He installed "CallTiger" or w/e it was named, as the Dial Up client used to connect to the internet. He then showed me Google.com and told me that whatever I want I can download from google.com
I was like WOW ! I first type "age of empires 2 download" The search result showed all demo links and that too on download.com
I downloaded it and played it. Some features were disabled in the game due to it being a demo. So I searched on Google "age of empires 2 full version download" I saw Microsoft Games website where it was priced for some $$. I again searched for "age of empires 2 full version free download" It showed the link of TheHotZone.net which was the first warez forum I had ever seen in my life :p I then downloaded it from rapidshare.de and played it much. I again visited that same site and at the footer it had SMForum.net's LE. I clicked it and I registered there. I used to copy paste the posts from SM -> THZ & THZ -> SM
I used to receive infractions in THZ due to posting live links (links w/o

And then... after 1 year, i.e. 2007 I opened my fourm and ran it and ....
 
I started using PC when I was 6 :P
I used to search for a lot of softwares from google but never knew where it came from etc
I used to bookmark the page when I found it was good :D
Later I got into bollywood piracy.
I used to download bollywood tv shows songs movies from bwt on tf and then upload it and post it on amaderforum :P

It was only when I joined WJ I got to know all the stuff and then I was like :O :O

Today when I think about those days I lol :P
