If you have a VPS (Virtual Private Server), you can use PacketSDK to start earning passive income, provided you meet PacketSDK’s qualified device requirements. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide and important notes.

1. Register and Create an AppKey

  • Contact support to register an account at support@packetsdk.com
  • Create an app suitable for your system type (e.g., Linux) and generate an AppKey.

2. Deploy PacketSDK on Your VPS

Method 1: Use the official install script (for Ubuntu / Debian / CentOS)

Replace YOUR_APP_KEY with the AppKey you created.

Method 2: Run PacketSDK in the background (to keep running after closing SSH)

bash
Code:
nohup ./packetsdk-linux -k YOUR_APP_KEY > sdk.log 2>&1 &

3. Meet the Earning Requirements

PacketSDK charges based on device active time and IP usage rate, with the following requirements:
ConditionRequirement
Online DurationKeep your VPS online for at least 12 hours per day
Qualified IPUse residential or trusted VPS provider IPs (avoid low-quality IPs)
Usage Rate (Trusted)PacketSDK calculates your IP consumption to assess usage rate
No Proxy/FirewallDon’t block SDK connections or traffic forwarding

4. Check Earnings and Data

Log in to the PacketSDK console:

  • Select your app to view daily active devices and Trusted usage rate

  • Earnings are settled daily after UTC time.

Useful Tips:

  1. Avoid cheap VPS providers: Many have poor IP quality and low usage rates, leading to unstable income.
  2. Deploy in multiple regions: Consider VPSs in countries with higher earnings potential, such as Vietnam, Turkey, Philippines, etc.
  3. Use clean native OS environments: Ensure your VPS IPs are not blacklisted or polluted.
  4. One VPS counts as one device: To increase income, use multiple VPS instances or participate in the referral program.

Referral Program (Expand Your Earnings)

You can also increase your income by referring other VPS users or app developers:
Find your referral link in the console under the “Referral” section.
