If you don't have a clue about web hosting I suggest you don't start company either. How can you provide your clients support when you have no idea how to purchase reseller plan from X company?

I came to this conclusion from your reply. If I'm wrong I'm sorry. You should go with HostGator (USA).

I have seen many people closing the host soon as they have enough knowledge about hosting!

Read a lot and work as staff , get exp and then think and start!

Look - I dont want to burst your bubble here.

But seriously - if you venture into the hosting business, you need to have some technical knowledge. Or get yourself a partner who is qualified enough to take on some of the toughest client requests and support tickets.

Clients will only stay if they get descent support from you - if you lack that, they will simply pick their stuff and leave.

I know people start at some point, but really - why hosting? There are many other things you can do - hosting is a very sensitive business - which requires good uptime and constant support around the clock.

If you want my advice, if you really want to be a host ... first get yourself a VPS and play around, make mistakes - find solutions etc. Once you feel somewhat comfortable - start small, but never look for "cheap" hosts. Find a descent and reputable host.

And best of luck!

Hi, i recommend you first get yourself a website, buy a host account on a provider and start playing with your own websites. create accounts, delete accounts, transfer websites, databases etc etc, there is a lot to learn. when you have more experience upgrade to a vps and then it's a new world...

baby steps!

or if you have the budget get yourself an experience partner for a jv but be careful and see if it's a trusted guy

Thank You everyone for your reply...I know how to use WHM and WHMCS Software...I want you people here on WJUNCTION to please guide in picking up best and reliable server for Starting my own Hosting Company...as everyone somehow have the same rates and features...so which is right and wrong to purchase???i am bit confuse...

Its best you shouldnt start one unless you know how to promote a host. There are 'n' number of hosts out their already and it is very hard to make people buy from you. You need to have the capacity to brainstorm different ways and research.

go deap go raw ... learn the commands do the stuffs manually and then you might make a sucessful webhost if not its just a place where you are investing for loss of yours and others
