How to SEO a video embed blog?

Hey pals,
I see many sites which upload their video on youtube or any videohosts and embed that to their blog,of course if someone watch video they visit the site.
My questions are:
1.how they work with keywords.
2.What kind of content they should have in their blogpost.
3.How do they get traffic?
Note: The above is about WP blogs mostly.

Ok if your going to use a blog IE WP then it will ping and seo to a certain degree.
But things to do would be good old meta tags in header but make em diffrent for every page.
Video sites rely on other page factors, the metadata within the video file itself, and inbound links and anchor text, to see what the video is about.
You could try subbmiting your rss feeds to site that accept them, also maybee have some short reviews on each as the txt content would be good.
Mention the words video avi mpg etc in all meta data as most people search for this.
Make the thumbnails a good size so they load quik, site with to bigger thumbnail load slow this wouldnt help.
Allow users to rank videos as the search engines will pick this up and also viewers will go for the high ranked videos, and Use keywords in the filename and URL.
Im no expert there will be guys here that specialise in SEO im just going on what i have lernt over the years and i hope it is some help to you.
Good luck.

Google does not read flash as far as I know, but to be safe... write a nice 150 word long description on each of the posts, and the good news is... wordpress already have it's own except editor, so it's up to you to make a good use of it. :)

Thank you guys, Actually, What i mean is If i publish some walkthroughs or pc gameplay in youtube and make a site with that, how i can get good visitors . What all things are necessary.

You've to be active most in youtube than in your own site for the start.

1. Watermark your videos, that wouldn't be hard if you create your own videos.
2. Link to your site from the Youtube Video Description.
3. Use eye catching titles and place some tags on the Youtube video and description.
4. Respond to popular related video's or comment on them by showing only the unique video id (ie. /watch?v=1q2w3e4r5t6y)
5. Use facebook page and twitter account, twitterfeed is the way to go.
