How to remove "Powered by vBulletin" from my site

Why? Why would you bother? Is it not bad enough that your using it illegally now you want to go further and remove the backlink to their site. It makes no difference to your site. Would you not concentrate on more important things?

If that's the most important or only thing on your site that you think need's fixing then you'll go far.

Appologies on my earlier comment so. I thought it was the copyright in the footer you wanted to remove which I didn't approve of.

If it's in the title then that's fine. It's in AdminCP >> Settings >> Options >> General Settings.

You'll then see this

The other thing you may want to change is the site name

Just realized that the instructions I gave were for vBulletin 4 and your using vBulletin 3.8 which is different.

In AdminCP >> Languages & Phrases >> Search in Phrases

Then Search for powered_by_vbulletin and select Phrase Variable Name Only highlighted below

Then you'll see

Click Edit

and remove the powered by vBulletin part I've highlighted below
