How to Protect mp3s

i upload music which is very rare and no one uploads it on net. People liked my site but one person took my idea and made same site as of mine and is uploading my files with his name.

now i cant send him dmca because i dont have rights for those mp3s. is there any method by which i can protect mp3s.

i dont have any problem if he uploads it on his site but he also takes credits for it, which i hate most.

The best you can do is use your sites url in the metadata. Like on the album covers and stuff, little watermarks

No successful method to protect mp3's..too many editors can change all details..

i think you're thinking in the wrong direction. You're thinking of the opression instead of expression. There will always be someone who copy and steals it, no matter what you do, people are creative in that, trust me. You better direct your energy how can you improve your service.
