a website can be priced with different factors like PR , Alexa Rank . number of members , pageviews , number of new unique members , number of posts , domain age etc etc these are just some important that everyone will look at b4 anyone buyies it :)

Beside what milooot said, there is a common theory that says a site value = 6 X monthly revenue. so if your friend makes 100$ as profit per month, he could sell the site for 600$. That's not necessary in some cases.

If it's a warez site though you can divide by as much as 10 what you'd pay for a legal site. A legit site is always worth more.

yes nice way
i see some people use this type of methods

Usually if a site earns, lets say... £10 a month the site would be valued at £120 for a sale as it's multiplied by 12 (That's what I've seen anyway)

That applies to legit sites

its not for warez site
only for legal site
because you can see many people selling in 12-60$
and if this mathod will work on this then owner's earning is only 2-10$/m and that's not possible

Thanx everyone ^_^

:D thanx every one, now I have an idea of how much is worth... are there any rules to price an URL?
