How To Pramote(User Group)

hello,
I m first time make phpbb forum, i dont know how to pramote register user to staff plz give me guideline how can i pramote and demote user in my forum

For changing group, go to MANAGE GROUPS, click on MEMBERS for the group in which you want to add the user, below ADD USERS enter the username and click SUBMIT.
DONE!!

And for making someone the Moderator of a forum, go to FORUMS, click on FORUM MODERATORS, select the forum where you want to add a moderator, SUBMIT, enter the name of the user you want to make a moderator in the ADD USER box, ADD PERMISSIONS, then select the type of moderator you want him to be, like simple/standard/full/queue(or you may customize a bit), then click on APPLY ALL PERMISSIONS.

well if u donno atleast the basics then quit phpbb

u will get pissed of while installing the mods if u cant atleast do this thing

really man !! why not go for myBB or vB or Ipb ??
