Hello Guys.

May I know how to make a link clickable inside code or quote bbcode.
right now if we post link under code or quote, the link is not clickable.

maybe there is easy way I dont know. I want by default entering links inside code and quote will convert them into working links.

Wouldn't that make coding the links a waste of time though? You can still post phishing links using this method.

EDIT: The Coon beat me to it :p

I want that for HF sales. It's just a habbit for uploader/posters to post download link in
Code:
. No use to ask them to post un coded link coz they don't do it.

Site got nothing unless link is clickable.

So, Please if someone know how to do it. Reply here.

And I'm sure many site owner intrested on this... Who don't want a free money right?

I think you can do it like this, I am sure their is an easier way though lol

[code ][url = http://google.co.uk]Google[ /url][ /code]

Remove the spaces

@ everyone who suggested the Firefox Linkification addon. Are you serious? How the hell is he meant to force every single visitor to the site to first install Firefox if their not using it and then make them install the addon. You obviously didn't think this through.

@ everyone suggesting to use some form of bbcode like

This won't work well either as it allows phishers to hide their phishing links and I wouldn't suggest it. It makes the main reason to code links pointless.

So far CyberJ37 gave the best reply. A simple javascript code that onload would select ONLY Hotfile links and make them clickable and would do it all automatically. This would still prevent Phishers as they can't fake the hotfile links. You just gotta find it. I'm sure something already exists.

Get the Linkification addon.

Linkification is a Firefox extension that converts text links into clickable links ;)

Makes all links clickable and checks them. Marks em green if they are alive, red if dead. Just have everyone install this + GreaseMonkey Firefox plugin. 2 features in one!

Definitely not what I'm looking for. Cyberj idea is maybe what I need. Just need a coder. Who wiling to work for me? Will pay for it.
