Yeah dude it is possible.
all you have to do is download phpbb and appropriate converter from phpbb official site.
and install it in ur site and in the end instead of cliking to goto forum select the option of convertion

I have used automated converter cms2cms. there was some issues with the establishing the connection bridge, however there is a video guide that helped me greatly, plus it's available to try free demo. it takes really little time and basically you shouldn't use any codes or scripts. tools is worth trying.
