or free wordpress plugin?

well... there could be one, but you can easily disable most of them.

Try doing s.th. with nginx.
e.g. letting nginx-config check if your username&PW is in a mysql-db or s.th. like this.

if not, you can easily remove the download-urls with nginx replace (or s.th. else) off your webseite.
So no Downoad-manager will find a way to get the files.

if you just want to disable access to some posts (like in Wordpress) add a new usergroup and asign the posts to be viewed only by the usergroup.
e.g. WordPress ? User Access Manager « WordPress Plugins
