we are here to discuss about how to backup files!

-in the past,with filesonic. it was so easy to take backups of uploads. just creating new folder ,copy files into it and make the folder private !

-now with the shitty filehosts ! i think it's so difficltut

Ul : there's no copy button ! only make a backup button makes a copy of files in the same folder and if the original files deleted, it also deleted !

RS : ban accounts!

NL : the same above !

freakshare: script sucks !

share-online: no option for private folder !

what then !!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyone know a filehost uses a script like filesonic which we can able to create new folder and make it private uses the copy files function ?

What's the ban reason you received from RapidShare?

DepositFiles can store inactive files only 90 days, even you are a gold member. If RS banned you because of copyright infringements, I don't think you can survive on DepositFiles. DespositFiles has banned much more people than RS.

@gibalah,of course i have been banned from this reason

@rick_flair,extabait don't pay ! , bad speeds for both upload and download

@mazzo
I'm confused. Do you mean you didn't share your files in public but RS still banned you? Because you're asking "backup" and you mentioned you made folders private on FileSonic in the past, I guess you only use RS as your backup storage. Isn't it right?

Permit me to jump into discussion:

I use whatever host I find suitable for hosting public files, and use RS just for back-up, never publishing the links. In this way, I have a permanent back-up at RS (2 years pro plan) and I am not under threat to have my account banned because I don't share those files.

@mazzo
If you just need a backup, you can come back RS, but you cannot share those links again.
Also, use RAR's password to encrypt your file headers and archive contents.

@clatite
same here.
Now I have over 20TB backup-only files without any problems.

@Richard
Yes, but they have MD5 blacklists, so you have to use RAR's password to encrypt your files.

That's because they used RS as a mirror. I was talking about using it ONLY as a back-up. If you don't publish your links, you won't get any complaint, and your account won't get deleted.

And as gibalah posted above, use password encrypted uploads on RS. That way you should be safe, as long as RS is in business. If it happens to them what happened to MU, then you will lose your files.

At the moment I am using Netload. Until you reach 500Gb they do not delete your files even if you are a free member. I mean, is free. It has worked for 2 weeks, let's see how it goes.

1. Choose your favorite host
2. Upload to uptobox.com
3. Then your files are deleted, just RU to the host

OR

Use cloudnator. They are so slow on DMCA.
